Advisors Capital Management In Top 50 Fastest Growing RIAs For Third Year
July 09, 2016
Ridgewood, NJ (July 9, 2016) Advisors Capital Management (ACM), an investment advisor located in Ridgewood New Jersey, has been listed in Financial Advisor magazine’s top 50 fastest growing RIA firms for a third year.
After several years of double-digit returns, the S&P 500 was up 1.4% in 2015, including dividends. Since mid-2014, domestic equities have essentially gone nowhere. Among the 612 RIA firms surveyed by Financial Advisor, more than one-third, 219, said they saw assets under management shrink last year.
Ranked 30th this year, ACM bucked the trend and experienced a 27.7% year over year growth rate of assets under management. ACM provides separately managed accounts using individual securities to direct clients and financial advisors across the country.
“We have always been focused on creating steady cash flow and transparency while minimizing costs for our clients” said Kevin Kern, one of ACM’s co-founders. “I believe our continued growth comes from our value approach in providing tax efficient and personalized portfolios ; two objectives that ETFs and mutual funds often fail to achieve.” Kern added.
Established in 1998, ACM’s investment committee is headed by co-founder Dr. Charles Lieberman, noted economist and portfolio manager. Dr. Lieberman’s multi asset income solutions have been featured in Barron’s and seen on Bloomberg and CNBC.
About the Financial Advisor Magazine Ranking
Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to Financial Advisor Magazine in exchange for inclusion in the Top 50 Fastest Growing Firms. Financial Advisor is a financial services magazine which delivers market information for financial advisors. To be eligible for the Financial Advisor Magazine RIA ranking, firms must be independent registered investment advisors and file their own ADV statement with the SEC. They need to provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Firms were measured and ranked by their growth in assets under management from 2015 to 2016 to determine the top 50 fastest growing. Asset growth rate is a combination of return and new account growth.
